A garland is usually a decorative necklace of flowers, leaves, paper or other materials, which is hung on festive occasions. The brown and slightly glossy pretzels that have been used here as material are everyday snacks, and they are actually very fragile. Each piece of pretzel combines with a subsequent piece and forms a large-scale installation with countless repetitions that is over 30 meters long.
