»Still Life« 2021 910 × 123 × 90 cm porcelain Arranged on a long table in the center of the room are countless white objects of various sizes and familiar shapes, including vegetables, fruits, biscuits, lightbulbs, glass bottles and disposable cups. What all of them have in common are deformations that make them appear soft as they are oddly bent, warped or tilted. All of these objects were made one by one from a special kind of porcelain compound, using molds of the respective real thing. A garland is usually a decorative necklace of flowers, leaves, paper or other materials, which is hung on festive occasions. The brown and slightly glossy pretzels that have been used here as material are everyday snacks, and they are actually very fragile. Each piece of pretzel combines with a subsequent piece and forms a large-scale installation with countless repetitions that is over 30 meters long. »Still Life« ongoing series since 2013 dimensions variable 810 × 100 × 90 cm porcelain Arranged on a long table in the center of the room are countless white objects of various sizes and familiar shapes, including vegetables, fruits, biscuits, lightbulbs, glass bottles and disposable cups. What all of them have in common are deformations that make them appear soft as they are oddly bent, warped or tilted. All of these objects were made one by one from a special kind of porcelain compound, using molds of the respective real thing. Porcelain is one of the most solid materials, yet it is at once

»Deskwork« 2012 Dimensions variable thumbtacks, paper clip, rubber rings, binder, eraser, pencil, ruler, set square, folder, map pins, pencil sharpeners, staple, sponge damper pad, magnets, blue paper, glue stick, etc. The exhibition took place in a former office building of the Bremen finance department, where the traces of the former office life are still clearly visible. One room exhibited several objects which were made out of office supplies. »165 yellows« 2013 45 cm x 45 cm x 45 cm Cardboard, cans, food packaging, DHL carton box, sponge, magazines, hair rollers, folders, batteries, toy, candy, plastic bottle etc. Exhibition: First Völklinger Art Award | Saarbrücken DE 2013 »165 Gelbs« 2013 45 cm x 45 cm x 45 cm Pappen, Dosen, Lebensmittelverpackungen, DHL-Kartons, Schwamm, Zeitschriften, Haar- Rollen, Ordner, Batterien, Puppe, Süßigkeiten, Plastikflasche usw. Verschiedene Stücke gelber Alltagsgegenstände wurden gesammelt und zum Kubus zusammengesetzt. Es waren zum Schluss 165 an der Zahl. Die entstandene Gelbtöne spiegeln sich in

The photographic paper was exposed directly in the camera and developed multiple images on a photo. The exposure lasted about 5 minutes.
